After uploading to GenBank, BACs must be uploaded to SGN.
<BAC name>.tar.gz (e.g. C01HBa0001A01.tar.gz)
Not located in pipeline repository.
SGN unpacks, validates, and publishes the contents of each BAC submission and performs some preliminary analyses.
Not located in pipeline repository. Published files are available on the SGN FTP site at ftp://ftp.sgn.cornell.edu/tomato_genome/bacs.
The submission tarball must be correctly formatted. A correctly formatted tarball must also have a correctly formatted GenBank record, accessible with the accession listed in the file gbacc.txt inside the submission tarball. For details of proper submission formatting, see SOL Project Sequencing and Bioinformatics Standards and Guidelines (Google doc).
